A marketing income statement is a document which provides an account of the money flowing in a marketing company at the end of a certain period of time. In other words, it is a tally of the total profits made by the company and the total amount of money earned after considering factors that have contributed to expense and subtracting them from the cash inflow. Other important factors like taxation, debts, project costs etc. must be considered.
The income statement is prepared by the accounts department of the marketing company at the end of the financial period usually lasting a year.
