An artist statement letter is a letter that an individual applying for a job in the position of an artist has to submit. The letter is a document where the individual can mention the reason and objectives for applying for the job position. He can also mention the reason for pursuing a career as an artist. In the letter he also has to mention the reason why he feels that he is the most deserving candidate for the job and how would he carry out his job duties if he is selected. He may also mention his accomplishments as an artist in the letter.

I would like to introduce myself as an artist with an eye for details. I have been a painter professionally since I completed my graduation from an art school. At the beginning of my career I was into doing sketching work for construction companies as a freelancer. Eventually my paintings started getting exhibited in various galleries.
I can assure that I would be ideal candidates as I also do abstract paintings and that is the kind of paintings you usually sell to your clients. I am enclosing some of my works of art.
